This sextet hails from Lima, Peru, where is currently taking on the music scene, propelling its music to new heights. AUKKA means "demonio" ("devil") in aymara (ancient peruvian language), and with this name the band wants to show where they come and what culture they represent.

Everything started in 2004, when Alfredo (former BIOS vocalist) wanted to drive his musical influences to a new level, in order to create a band with a solid musical proposal. Taking elements from Thrash, hardcore, Nu Metal and mixing them with latin components; the first compositions were born.

Devastating guitar riffs, crushing latin percussion and intense melodies are the most projecting features in AUKKA's music.

Aukka consists of Alfredo on vocals, Joe and Jeancarlo on guitars, Franco on bass, Gigio on percussion and Jeff on drums.

The band has been in the studio since december 2005 working on its debut cd. The first production will be released by mid 2006.
