ColdSweat was formed in the fall of 2001; a product of drive, ambition, and heart crunching melodies. ColdSweat is Jeremy Thompson (Lead Vocals), Keith Schroetlin (guitar/vocals), Adam Esparza (bass) Steve Bauer (lead guitar)and Travis Christiansen (drums). The Nebraska based 5-piece represents a sound that is aggressive metal and alternative rock. The Power of big guitar riffs, Powerful vocal mayhem, Thunderous Drum beats and booming ass bass lines is what this band is all about! With Thompson and Schroetlin's Lyric's adding color to the canvas of the art form we call metal. With heart felt powerful songs such as "Plastic Overhead" to aggressively rage filled masterpieces Like "Cutter" and "Tight Rope". In the early months of 2007, ColdSweat released a full length album called Razorblade Artshow. With there first single "Cutter" which has been played on Z-92 Homegrown out of Omaha,Z-98 Underground out of Sioux City,89.7 the river out of Council Bluff's, and KWSC-FM the Wayne State College radio station and numerous Internet based Radio Stations. ColdSweat is now working on there Third release called Reinvent, It feature's the show popular single's "World Like This" and "Done To Me" and promise's to be the band's Masterpiece Album. Alot of time and effort is being put into every part of this album. ColdSweat is Planning on a release date of mid 2009. ColdSweat frequents Lincoln, Omaha, Norfolk,Columbus and all over Northeast NE, as well as Iowa and surrounding states
