deciBel has been together in its current form for about two years now, since mid 2003. based out of a little town called Oak Ridge, NC, we all grew up together and live in the same neighborhood even now. we are all enrolled in college as well: robert and bennett at UNCG, andrew at Duke, and andy at NC State. we have loads of stage experience between the four of us and love rocking out the shows. we play hard rock music similar to seether, crossfade, and breaking benjamin, but differ in our tastes. robert writes the harder, head-pounding music with the screaming, andrew writes more melodic riffs with a message, and andy is halfway between. deciBel made a 6 song ep last spring and as of now, we are currently writing new material. we love to rock hard, but our songs are pretty radio-friendly, none the less. check out our home page for music from our demo, it's wicked awesome! we are hoping to get some sort of record deal so that we can record our new material; so far the new stuff is even better and louder than the ep, if you can believe it! deciBel currently has no professional representation of any sort, so we each have to go out to venues and personally talk to bookies to get shows; we all work hard to spread the word ourselves and through our friends and fans about deciBel. we are also registered on numberonemusic.com and have lately been topping the charts, beating out bands like sevendust, hawthorne heights, and silverstein. also, on wolfbytes radio at NC State, we are the only unsigned band in the "A-List" rotation, usually among the top ten among bands like nickelback and crossfade. deciBel is looking to expand its fanbase and do some touring if we can get our full-length cd completed and on the shelves. give us some support, go to our website, email us, IM us, whatever you can do to let us know you love you some deciBel is greatly appreciated. support of the fans can never be heard enough! rock on, rag
