The rock band DELAREM began with four friends. By merging Disturbed's loud but tuneful sounds with U-2's working-class sensibilities, the Puerto Rico-based quartet developed an ingratiatingly melodic and professional variation of hard rock one that appeales as much to teenagers as to young adults.

DELAREM skillfully writes lyrics and music to give their songs an appropriately commercial and non-commercial sheen, that will create a trend that will dominate mainstream hard rock and metal for the next decade.
