Formed in the summer of 2001, IOMA'S original three members: Casey Bakker, Kevin Daly and Luke may searched for the voice that would illuminate this new breed of progressive rock. After months of auditions, Jasin Morrisin, Someone who's as dark and dangerous as his hard hitting vocals and live performances, seemed to have brought together the sound that ioma was waiting for. With all four members coming from different musical backgrounds influences range from the hard driving sounds of "Tool" and "Faith no More" to the crazy and political antics of of "Rage against the machine" and "system of a down" performing weekly at many of the hottest LA clubs such as The Whiskey, Roxy, The Gig and the Viper Room.
