Korrigan(ex-Insanity)were formed in late 2005 by Nikos(drums),Panos(Guitar),Kostas(Guitar),Vagelis(Vocals).Initially rehearsing covers by bands like Rotting Christ,Anathema,Paradise Lost but also Kreator and Sepultura it was clearly shown that they would follow atmospheric paths.By summer of 2006 Marios(bass) had joined the band and Korrigan(still then Insanity) performed live at University of Patra with Frame Up Story,Ganiota 5 and Parhsia (setting up everything with the help of band members and the guys from FEP) in front of nearly 200 people.They played songs by Anathema,Rotting Christ,Paradise Lost,Kreator and others...It was nearly after 7 months that Vaggelis met Manolis(Keyboards) and invited him to become a member of Korrigan.Manolis was a great boost fot the band with his ideas and creativity.A month later Zoe also entered the band contributing with her aethereal voice to the band's evolution.The band succefully wrote their fisrt song entitled "Tonight" and along with some new covers managed to play it live at Stone Bar(Patras) in May 2007.The fact that none of the members is actually from Patras as well as the fact that every member is a university student was somewhat of a difficulty but the band continued to write two more songs (Silence and Suicidal Urges(originally entitled "Lies")).It was then that Korrigan decided to record their first demo!!Entitled "Korrigan" a four-track demo is a fact as we speak(with the precious help by Elias Kokkinis and Lubreeka Studioz). Korrigan are very sorry that Panos(Guitar) and Nikos(Drums) had to leave the band.Their contribution was more than vital.Luckilly Korrigan found Vasilis(guitar) and Andreas(drums) and are now ready to rock again.New material is under construction...
