From 2000 to 2006, LaRva has both evolved and become one of the most important and powerful bands in the underground metal mexican scene. Larva`s daring line up is today one of the most original; 2 girls and 2 guys, letting the girls carry on the screaming and the aggressive part of the music, and leaving the boys with the soft and melodic voices.

From their early beginnings, LaRva has not attempted to be a metal act, instead they let a lot of influences carry on with their music; metal, hardcore, industrial, punk, doom and new metal, among others. Their line up: Peech (guitar, voice, keyboards), Dana (bass, screaming), Kike (drums) and Sarah (guitar, keyboards). Larva attempts not only to deliver great passionate music, but also builds up a whole visual show for their acts; the scenery and the video projections play a huge part in the story Larva plays on stage.

Their last album "ANORMAL" (2003) is a complex and tragic work that shows off the huge musical concept Larva creates; it tells us a story about a girl who kills her own dad and then commits siucide, and, among with the album artwork, the promotional videos and the songs´ lyrics, the listener dives in this musical abyss that is Larva. The band is currently working on their long waited follow up to "ANORMAL", creating the music, the images and the videos for it.
