Reset
Barreiro, PORTUGAL |
From Barreiro, Portugal, RESET started in the summer of 1997, with Carlos and Walter with the guitar duty’s, Flavio on bass, Dinho on vocals, and later on Castanheira on drums.
Under the name Drift Away, they've composed a few tracks with traditional Heavy Metal influences with a Gothic touch.
In 2000, the bands retouches their sound, leaving a considerable set of tracks behind, and change their name to RESET.
In January/February 2001 the band records their debut Demo-CD in the Cabral brothers Boom Studios. The Demo is composed by three tracks: "S.Y.T.", "Breaking the Law" and "The Search".
After a few shows, the band records their second Demo-Cd in November 2003 at Floyd Studios entitled "Freedom" with five new tracks: "Sorry", "Freedom", "A Matter of Pride", "Regret" and "Know". Produced by Nuno Loureiro and the band, "Freedom" reveals a more aggressive RESET and directioned to modern Metal edges.
During 2005 the band strongly promotes "Freedom", being picked up for six music contests, the shooting of "A Matter of Pride" video clip and three tracks being included in the Bodyboarding documentary "Hotspots".
The year of 2006 was used by RESET to record a new CD.
Entitled "Love and Hate", the CD is composed by eight new tracks (“Remember”, “Love and Hate”, “Rise”, “Lonely”, “Fire Desire”, “Game of Lies”, “Lunacy” and “You and I”) and it was produced by Daniel Cardoso (Headcontrol System, Del). With a new work, RESET has as primary goal for 2007, the promotion of "Love and Hate".
