Wheelrunner formed back in 2000 and released their first Self-Titled 7-track Demo in 2001. On March 2003, the band came through with their second recording. They start recording “Rock'n'Roll Lover”, a 6-track Demo, which was more in the hard n heavy vein.Since then, Wheelrunner with a powerful and fixed line up, performed in numerous live venues in Athens and open the gigs of "Jon Olivas’ Pain" tour in Greece, both in Thessalonica and Athens, with the blessings of Jon Oliva ("Savatage", "Trans-Siberian Orchestra") himself! Right now Wheelrunner just finished their debut album “Bloodpaint” which is a unique style of classic Hard'n'Heavy metal.The engineering and performance of it comes up to the expectations of modern sound requirements, which make it competitive not only for the local heavy metal scene.In 2008 Wheelrunner proudly announced their record deal with “Emotion Art Music Ltd”. The debut album is due to be released in October 2008.
