Ley54 was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico . He first began playing drums at the age of 6, which was followed by a brief love affair with the piano. At age 10 he started playing the guitar after been blown away by a Van Halen record and decided that the guitar was his true calling.

Now a self taught virtuoso at age 16, Ley54 strove to learn every guitar technique and scale known to man and played them with incredible precision and lighting speed. He formed his first band and played numerous talent shows at age 17.

Having now been influence by bands like Anthrax, Guns n Roses, Metallica and Pantera, and players like Kirk Hammet, Dave Mustain , Zack Wylde , and Dime Bag Darrell; Ley54 starts to change his style to a more aggressive bone crushing heavier sound.

In 1998, Ley54 forms the heavy metal band Beyond Sick. With Beyond Sick he produces his first demo and plays the local scene. In 2000 Ley54 decides to move to sunny south Florida and re-invents Beyond Sick with a new line up. Shortly after playing a few shows the band breaks up and Ley54 found himself joining a local producer and performer named Crux Troy and joined his band Aggitated Pearl, a notorious, pop, techno rock, local band from Fort Lauderdale.

Ley54 immediately creates an impact and helps redefine the bands sound. He helps compose, and arrange the bands new album titled simply , “Aggitated Pearl”. The band tours South Florida opening for major acts like Josh Todd of Buckcheery and others. After 2 crazy years of music, drinks and girls, Ley54 decides to part ways with Aggitated Pearl and in 2002 he forms one of the most brutal and heavy hard rock bands in south Florida, Blind Assault.

Recruiting long time friend Giovanni on vocals, Mike on drums and secured Kyle on bass thru the help of a classified ad. the band entered the studio and recorded a demo that was produce and mix by Ley54. He dropped D tuning, whammy bar antics, energetic blues playing all mixed into a raw yet redefine songs. The band later part ways with Giovanni and added a man simply known as Ash on vocal duties and then started assaulting South Florida venues and their patrons, playing along with bands like Malevolent Creation, Divine Empire and others. If one word could sum up Ley54 and Blind Assault it would be "dangerous". The Ley54 wants to keep it that way. It is technical yet simple, the best of both worlds.

Now Ley54 is currently working on is own project and finishing what it would be his first solo record, a combination of powerful rock songs and ballads perform by him and local talent. He is also providing sound for small independent projects and recording new tracks at BlueRavenStudios.com with long time friend Christian Hooper, of Birdman Cult.

The world can never get enough of this talented virtuoso and Ley54 will continue to deliver his very best...
